Story Of HOW GiMp got the Boy George Autograph:

BOY was at the "Cowgirl Hall of Fame". The validity of his being BOY was confirmed with The Waiter: "Yes dear, it's BOY, In all her splendor..." After some hemming and hawing and nervousness (it is BOY, after all) GiMp approached BOY, and asked for his autograph, presenting a torn piece of paper from Kate's datebook that was stained w/ grease from the delicious sweet potato fries they had just eaten. BOY signed said paper, and says: "I particularly like the grease stains!" (perhaps not with an exclamation point like that, but it was definitely with more OOOMPH than a period would indicate, so we'll go with an exclamation point--which--I feel is so much more BOY, don't you?) GiMp triumphantly returns with the precious BOY autograph, and later presents it to us Gawkers @ the Beer Garden. Diesel tried to convince us that we were looking at the autograph upside-down, but he was found to be wrong by a 4-1 vote.

Unfortunately, GiMp didn't have the courage to talk to BOY about why we love him so: when we were in London, we went by his house, which is big and has a big stone fence and gates (see MTV Cribs). Well, on all the walls and gates outside everyone who comes signs their names and messages, etc. Well, we saw a gentleman who signed this message:

"Boy,
YOU BIG GAY.

rico, greece
7-4-91
"

Needless to say, we fell in love with this Rico (or whatever his name really was) and his amazing grasp of poetic sentiment. We all signed the door/walls, but felt we could not have compared to the genius of "You Big Gay." We even made a movie based on that very phrase.

And so, when GiMp was faced with BOY, we hoped she would ask him about Rico, or at least let him know that we signed his property back in 98' ("Look at the west gate, and you'll find a large DUCK written in calligraphy w/ black marker..."). She was too stunned by BOY's very presence, though---and was content w/ the Autograph above.
