Ella Mae "Smee" Fitzkitty was one of three kittens brought into this world by the family cat of Ithaca Mafia (DC) Member, Adrian Ballard. She was chosen by Jedi Gimp during her 2nd week of life due to the 'Spunk' she showed.

At least, Ella allowed Gimp to believe that she chose her.

She was introduced to Kluv, and being no larger than the palm of his hand & filled with infinite cuteness, he was hooked. She was adopted after a few weeks, and returned to the Grandview apartments in Ithaca, where she would live for the first year of her life. For the first few months, she played the role of 'kitten', sleeping on the chests of Gimp & Kluv during summer nights and naps, and entertaining them for hours with cat toys & tail chases.

Soon, though, Ella would come to realize an important piece of information that she would come to base her life around: That she is smarter than Humans.

Ella went to her very first Vet visit, where she was to receive her 'Boosters' and 'Anti-Worm' medicines. She knew, inherently, that she was allergic to this medication--but for some reason, the Humans surrounding her wouldn't listen to her "Mogwai-like" chirps... And so, it wasn't until they had taken her home and her face swelled to twice it's normal size--that the Humans listened to her.

She wouldn't let that mistake happen again.

Since then, Ella has made it known throughout the land that she is in charge, from where she chooses to sleep, what and when she chooses to eat, when she wishes to be touched, and who she would like in her immediate area. She is still affectionate to Kluv and Gimp, however, she only doles out said affection in small increments so they don't get too full of themselves. She sometimes sleeps with them still, but only when it seems they really need it.

Or when she needs food.

She is adamant about showing other Mafia Members her 'tough-as-nails' side, so that word doesn't get out to other Mafia pets that she has gone soft. After all, she has a rep to protect. 'Cute' can go to Parker and Posey. Ella is an enforcer for the Mafia.

Can't let the Humans get too out of hand, you know. The sound of her claw going 'THOK' as she pulled it out of Kluv's cheek can be a pretty useful deterrent.

When prompted, Jedi Kluv has been known to play Ella like a guitar, and use her leg as a 'whammy' bar. He has also played her like a set of bagpipes.

Kluv is to Ella, what Steve Irwin is to Crocodiles.
