A 23-Story Drop of Terror (7/1/01)

Welcome to July, and prepare ye for the vacation season. In fact, I myself will be vacationing this week, so you'll have to keep each other entertained on the board whilst I'm gone. Be sure and wear your sunblock.

But before I leave, I bequeath a super-fun gallery of pictures from the recent adventures Gimp, Steve, Diesel & I had @ Great Adventure this past Friday.

Nothing's Shocking (6/27/01)

The Events page hath been updated, and filled with the goodness of upcoming events (including a new play that Kate G. is in--check eeet out!). Stay tuned for some upcoming Mrs. Grundy dates this summer (and big ups to Matt for the Ithaca Mafia shout-out on the Grundy Webpage. --we've got your mullitant back, Grundyman.)

Jedi No has provided us with a man-on-the-scene report from the madness taking place @ PunkRawksTheatrical event, "Free Market":

"KLUV,
I'm writing to let all of you made and unmade Ithaca Mafians know that you must go and see "Free Market" (which by the way is the funniest piece of them all and will make you laugh so hard you'll sound like a dog driven nitro burning funny car, hammering down on a flying squirrel). It's a great night of one acts well built on the backs of some very very fine performers who are stretched at times beyond what you think should be their allowable range and you'll say "No" and then they'll just smooth you into the pavement of the play and you'll like it and you'll laugh and the play will end and another one will begin and you'll forget your worries and realize how tremendous these cats really are at their characterization and how beautifully they relate one to the other.
It ends this week and the price is plenty fair and the show is for we the people and it's about us and when the revolution comes, Sister Emily / Jedi Punk Rock will be the first statue up in Columbus circle and you'll have nothing and like it if you don't go see this great show about the workers, man. It's funny, it's slightly more poignant than "Dawson" it's a must see, so get off your butts."

Oh, and sometime in the last few weeks of my madness, I discovered taht my new sound card came with a veryfine DJ program. Therefore, I have created an inspiring song in Mp3 format for the mafia to enjoy. It's seriously wack--I mean, dope, yo. It's fairly big...3megs, so be prepared to wait.

So, in my delirious state last night when I was trying not to pass out and vomit, I mistakenly said that Meier's housewarming was THIS WEEKEND. I was wrong, it is NEXT WEEKEND JUNE 30th.

If you show up @ their house, yer just going to get a kick to the head, so save yerselves for next weeksend. There's always the beergarden, if you're bored.

My Head's A Splodin' (6/21/01)

Okay, quick quick bits of info for everyone, as I seem to be spending a unhealthy amount of time in front of computers lately...w/ my job & the site, it's come to like 12-14 hours. Therefore, I now (in addition to a splitting headache) am getting vertigo when I sit here typing this stuff. <pause for 10 minute break to take advil & water>.
