The Return Of A Jedi (2/24/01)

A Jedi hath returned to us.  Once thought lost to the Sith, he has turned back to the light.  An Ithaca Mafia member beloved by many...father to one...formerly of Ohio...that's right:

"FINALLY...FURLONG HAS COME 

BACK to NEW YORK!!!"

That's right folks, Jedi Furliss, former padawan learner of Jedi Sperm, is back in the Tri-State Area.  He has returned to become the newest member of the "Ed" family, getting gainful employment in the way of a Production Assistant position.  So gather round little Ewoks, join me in a chorus of "Yup Yup", dance with Admiral Ackbar around the bonfire, and play those Stormtrooper helmets like a xylophone!

Smackdown (2/22/01)

Not too mucho to say today.  Some Jedi got some damn good new recently:  Jedi Haps won $1000.00 for coming in first place in a national Acting championship, and Jedi Duck just found out he'll be doing a Tide^© commercial, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for that (and start brainstorming for good reasons to knock him up for cash).

Did anyone see the extreme lack of neck on one of the "Steely Dan's" last night?  No? Look for yourselves.  

That's all I got to say about that.

Well, the week is halfway over, and it's time to update quickly before the West Wing stuns us once again.  Got a chance to finally see "O Brother Where Art Thou?" on Monday w/ Gimp, Diesel, Duck, O'Neill, and Brooke.  The Cohen's made another smashing flick, different from all the others, yet just as good.  Some folk have said they're not to hot on it; I thought it was not only hilarious, but one of the best visual pics they've done.  "We're in a tight spot!"

I hope ya'll saw "Ed".  Poor Ms. Bonnie..she's..gone.  Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Dear god--is this article about the Bone?  Ooops! Klaus Did it Again.  Ahhh the humanity.  I'm a readin' "Barrel Fever" by David Sedaris.  Good, funny, bitchy, stuff.  Also, did you know that his sister is Amy Sedaris--the woman from Strangers W/ Candy?  And did you know that Duck almost ended up hitting her with the car this past Saturday?  How Ya Do Dat!?

Pace.  Time For Elton, Eminem, and Britney (before I have my date w/ CJ--she's dreamy).

Greets, fearless readers.  The long weekend has past, and the work of everyday folk calls us back.  Had a relaxing yet eventful weekend...Friday: Watched the Mallrats DVD.  Saturday: met Thor (Dog of Thunder) and saw Seester and Yotko's house in Jersey.  The Mother Duck was there, and kindly offered her blood to the feral dog SPUD.  Eeeeeviiiiil.  Thanks to disinterest in the XFL game of the evening, we convinced Diesel to shock himself with the dog collar--it was one of the collars that gives the dog a big ol' jolt if he barks too much...

Once Diesel was incapacitated, we drove back to NYC, narrowly avoiding disaster.  We decided to go grocery shopping at 1:50am, giving into our desires and strange midnight tastes as the evening went on.  Thank's Pathmark.
